Maintenance and disinfection equipment

Automatic feeders

All purchased feeders should be firmly attached to the floor or wall to prevent moving their by animals. Machines should be permanently filled, because the empty feeder could be damaged by the looking for food animals. In the first days of use, the adjustment should be set to the minimum value and should be gradually increase and observing the animals behaviour. The feed may not stand over in the troughs, which is especially important in machines with water. While cleaning the equipment, carefully clean all moving parts and remove lumpy remnants of feed. The threads of adjusting screws (black knob) should be cleaned and greased at each disinfection in the room. If you notice visible damage, loose connections, etc., customers should protect the device against further damage.

Pennig systems

All components should be firmly attached to the floor or walls. If you notice any damage, immediately fix them, and replace the damaged parts to prevent major damages.

Ventilation and feed systems

Periodically check the mounting of all components of the system and make the necessary improvements and repairs. In the case of malfunction of an electrical or mechanical equipment, first check whether the system has been locked due to mishandling (interference of foreign elements), and then take it to the serving or merchant point POLNET to determine how to proceed. Please note that the correct operation of the ventilation system not only provides the optimum climate, but also extends the life of other equipment (reducing the concentration of aggressive gases)

Care of stainless steel

Feeders and all stainless steel elements, require proper care in a hostile environment, which prolongs their life. Before shipping the equipment is protected by special passivating agent, nevertheless try to avoid contact with black steel and do not use any aggressive agents containing chlorine, which leads to the weakening of the natural protective layer. If you notice surface corrosion, clean the surface of the raid, f.e. using CIF or other cleaner to stainless steel, and rinse accurately - it prevents pitting and effectively restarts the process of passivation (reconstruction of the protective layer)

Cleaning and disinfection

Periodically you should clean up all equipment, especially moving elements, to remove accumulated dirt and dust. For disinfection, do not use products which contains chlorine, they react and destroy the protective coatings of stainless steel and galvanized steel, and cause corrosion. As a manufacturer and seller of equipment we recommend disinfectant MULTI-DES, which, in contrast to the measures chlorine ones can be used even in the presence of the animal, because it does not irritate the respiratory tract.
